INCLUDE

In concert with the Buena Regional School District, Weymouth Township School District is proud to announce their receipt of an "Implementing New Curricular Learning with Universally Designed Experiences : INCLUDE" grant from the New Jersey State Department of Education. The INCLUDE project is designed to ensure all students in the general education classroom including those with mild to moderate disabilities, struggling students and English language learners are provided the necessary accommodations in the general mathematics classroom that will support their achievement of the Core Curriculum Content Standards. The basis for the INCLUDE grant is to improve academic academic acheivement in middle school mathematics by using educational technology effectively. Our two districts will share $161,538 for intensive staff development and the purchase of state-of-the-art assistive technology hardware and software for classroom use (year one). The total amount of this award (over a four year period) will be in excess of $750,000.
Dodge Foundation Fellowship

Dr. Van Horn will attend Lehigh University's Global Leadership / Counseling Institute in Sligo, Ireland in July. This program provides training in couseling skills to construct childhood prevention programs, addressing substance abuse, sexually transmitted diseases, eating disorders, violence prevention, and resiliency and competency.
The Architects of American History Liberty Fellowship

In concert with Buena Regional School District and Estell Manor School District, this multi-year federal grant provides intense staff development to improve the instruction of U.S. History. This program emphasizes the importance of understanding our nation's history by allowing teachers to gain a deeper knowledge and in turn share it with their students.
HP Technology for Teachng Grant
