FROM THE STATE REPORT CARD (http://education.state.nj.us) :

Weymouth Township School continues to focus on the individual educational and developmental needs of our students. School / parent / community communication and cooperation create the foundation upon which the educational programs are based. Weekly and monthly newsletters keep the entire community apprised of school and Board of Education activities. A variety of activities bring parents and community volunteers into the school on a regular basis.

Weymouth Township School continues its’ commitment to infuse technology into the curriculum. Students in grades K-8 received formal technology instruction in a state-of-the-art computer lab. Classroom computers provided Internet access and instructional software for student and faculty research, writing and skill development. Spanish is infused into the Language Arts Curriculum, using the Northern Arizona Elementary Spanish Program.

Students participate in a variety of extra curricular activities such as Study Club, Student Council, Safety Patrol and Puppet Club. A sports intramural program and a traveling basket ball team provide students the opportunity to participate in athletic competition. The RESPECT (Really Enthusiastic Students Performing Exceptionally Courteous Tasks) Club students serve as Peer Helpers by assisting students in lower grades and promote positive behavior, kindness and courtesy. Our Newspaper Club publishes a school newspaper and the Young American’s Club organizes patriotic activities throughout the school year.

The small size of our school, and low student / teacher ratio, enables us to work together to provide our students with a highly personalized education. Resource Rooms and Basic Skills classes are available to those students needing extra support to succeed. This nurturing environment is just one of the reasons why our students continue to excel!
